Our Meal Program

The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) is a federally assisted program that helps us provide free fresh fruits and vegetables to children during the school day. Our goals for implementing this program are to increase the acceptance and consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables amongst all children, to encourage a healthier school environment by promoting nutrition education, and to make a difference in children’s diets to impact

The Food and Nutrition Service of the United States Department of Agriculture, who administers the FFVP, encourages schools to serve a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Every week we introduce new and different identifiable fruit and/or vegetable, purchased at our local grocery store, to our students.
